[#0008] The Helper God Sent
The Holy Spirit isn't distant or absent - He's your Helper, advocate, and constant companion. This episode explores John 14:16-17 and introduces a week-long journey into what it truly means to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Discover why Jesus called Him "another advocate" and what that means for your everyday life.
Jesus spoke these words the night before His crucifixion, promising His disciples another Helper just like Him. The word "advocate" means someone called alongside to help - like a defense attorney who stands with you. The Holy Spirit isn't less than Jesus. He's God, fully divine, available to all believers everywhere, all the time.
I share about a season when I felt completely alone, and how the Holy Spirit reminded me that He's not just watching from heaven - He's right here, advocating for me, helping me, guiding me. That changes how you face Monday morning, handle conflict, and make decisions.
This week we're going deeper into what it means to be filled with this Helper. Today, just let this truth settle in: You have an advocate. You have the Spirit of truth living in you. You're never truly alone.
