I tell the story of my difficult neighbor and how choosing small acts of love (even when I didn't feel like it) completely transformed our relationship. We talk about why love is the evidence of salvation - not perfect church attendance or flawless theology.

Walking in love is practical - it's patience in traffic, forgiveness when you'd rather hold a grudge, serving when you'd rather be served. Love isn't always received well (just ask Jesus), but we don't love based on response. Each act of love displays God to a watching world, and someone needs to experience God's love through you today.
